The 28th Walter and Minnie LOOMIS REUNION is 2 p.m. Sunday at Harrington Park, 508 Williams Street, with swimming, children's games, and a Mystery Gift Auction.  Guests are asked to bring meat and a covered dish to share, coffee and punch will be furnished.  Contact Elaine Harrington at 593-4921 with questions.

The 93rd BREWSTER - PALMER REUNION will be held 1 p.m. Aug. 6 at the home of Tracey and Tom Walker, 1790 Bridgeview.  Bring swimming gear, table service, a covered dish, and dessert.  Call Violette Fuller, 593-4985, with questions.

116th DALRYMPLE REUNION

METCALF
"Three Sisters Reunion"

The families of Abby Talcott, Helen Ufford and the late Zelma Shirley Rose, daughters of the late Thomas and Mary (Corbin) Metcalf, held their annual "Three Sisters" reunion Aug. 18 at the home of Francis and Abbey Talcott in Plymouth Township, Marcella (Rose) Brooks and Patricia (Talcott) Salo were in charge of planning the reunion.

A picnic lunch was served and the youngsters enjoyed rides on the golf cart and games on the lawn.  Music was provided by the Mike Good group from Akron.  Patricia Salo and Helen Ufford conducted a grab bag give-a-way.

Abby Talcott told of the life of their maternal great grandmother Naomi Fedelia (Hanna) Allen Gore; born 1843 in the part of New Lyme that is now Rome Township.  After her mother died when she was 6, Naomi was placed with a family in Dodgeville.  Her first husband, George Allen, was shot in Kansas, leaving her with four small children.  Naomi married George Gore in her latter years.  She died in 1922 at the age of 79 and is buried in Geneva's Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Kim Berry brought photo albums with pictures of her grandparents, Edward M. and Zelma Shirley Rose.

David and Mary Manner served a cake celebrating the birthday of Alden Manner.

Scott and Karen Metcalf and daughters, Kaitlin and Rachel were welcomed to the family group.

Events of record for the past year include the marriage of Errol Talcott and Kristi (Hinkley) Philpott, married July 20, 2002. Kristi and daughter Holly were welcomed to the family.

CARLTON
Mini-Reunion

A "mini" Carlton reunion was held at Garfield's Restaurant in Ashtabula with 12 present The "Chrismas in October" theme was hosted by John and Mary Lou Farman of Ashtabula.

Traveling the farthest were Drs. Dick and Debbie Prince of East Stroudsburg, Pa.

Oldest in attendance was Eva Prince.  The youngest was Chris Carlton of Madison.

Others in attendance included Marge Wright of Andover, Jim and Doris Newman of Rock Creek, Paul and Pat Wright of Windsor and Ruth Carlton of Madison.
